Why are so many people who claim to be Christians not going to heaven you like? What are you talking about that doesn't make sense? Well, it does. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak and even though grace is a gift, and even though God has done everything necessary to save dead people, to quicken them to life and to bring them into the kingdom people, especially in cultures like the United States who grow up in church, they believe well. I've been told that if I try like when I was a Catholic, if I do good works, if I you know glean corn in the winter, if I go to penance and with the priest, then if I do good things I'll go to heaven and then there's these pentecostal churches that God is just be so exciting and it's an emotional woll coaster and if, if you just go forward, if you just say yes, then you're in doesn't really matter about the disciple ship and about being built up in the Lord and about having a Lordship relationship with Jesus Christ, because you you went forward once maybe you got baptized. This podcast is going to challenge us. It may bother you, but the the goal of it is not to condemn anybody or to make anybody walk away or to be repelled by what I'm saying it's to challenge you and people you meet to say: Well, you say: You're, a Christian and I've been hanging out with you or you go to my church or you're in my group, but I, but I hear you're you're considering divorcing, and I hear that you, you watch porn and you're, not repenting of it, and I hear you're living with a girl or a guy, and I hear these things. But if you stay, if you're in those sins and you're not trying to repent your you're, not doing everything you can to to break off the sin to separate from it to ask for God's strength, then the Bible says: You're not saved. What did Jesus say it said bet he said better to cut off your right hand than the UNTERHALTEN whole body. So we can't make light of sin. We can't substitute what we think being a Christian is and how Jesus is supposed to fit into our walk with what we want. We don't get to create a lordship model that fits our life. Here is a good example Matthew, seven eighteen through twenty one Jesus said it. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit. Nor can a disease tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown it to the fire. Thus, youwill recognize them by their fruits, pretty straightforward right, if you believe you're a Christian or if your family members believe they are Christians, which is really more a Christ follower, as Christian has really kind of been adulterated, but if you're truly a child of God born again adopted into the family. I was a liar, and now I'm not, and I'm encouraging people to live lives of integrity or whatever the sin that besets you that you've been set free from. But if somebody says I am a Christian, but there's no manifestation of the Holy Spirit working in their life. None and they're. Just as carnal as the next person, then you got to be able to tell them God's, not marked, because in Matthew, seven twenty one Jesus said not every one who says to me: Lord Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my father, who is in heaven on not on that day. Many will say to me: Lord Lord: Did we not prophesy in your name and cast it out demons in your name and do mighty works in your name? It's kind of a pleading as they're in the B MC judgment in the realizing that they are going to hell. So they're saying didn't I do didn't we do this stuff? Didn't we do all these works? Then we manifest all the spiritual outward manifestations. We did it your name in verse. Twenty three says then I will occur to them. I never knew you depart from made your workers of lawlessness, verse. Twenty four every one then, who hears the words of Mine and dozen will be like a wise man who built his house on the Rock and the rain, fell and the bloods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall because it had been founded on Christ, on the rock on the word of God, and every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. But whoever denies me before men. I will also deny, before my father in Heaven Verse Thirty Four do not assume they have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword mark a thirty eight cross reference. If any one is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and simple generation, the son and man will also be ashamed to him when he comes in his father's glory with the Holy Angels. The Cross, blood, atonement, sanctification, justification glorification. We don't need to well. The problem is, is it God saves his children, Spiritual Children? He saves us for good works that were set before we were born, or our future is already laid out in the good things we're supposed to do for God or preset, and if that puts you in front of somebody who says Elwy, do you act like that? Are you a Christan everyone staring at you and you say? No! No! No, I'm not that religious kind, I'm not really religious. Then you have a problem because if you're ashamed of Christ and his words in the sinful and adulterous generation, then Jesus will be ashamed of you and he is a lord and he is the only thing that matters he's the one that died and took the sin off. Your account at the holy life died, raise himself up from the dead and says, come to me all you labor and I will and your heavy late, and I will give you rest and I will give you I will give you a turn of life by you, putting your faith in what I've done in making me Lord. So a lot of Christians are in trouble here right. Oh, I go to church I've gone forward. I go to the MIN study. I do these things okay, but but if somebody says to you tell me the Gospel, why do you believe what you believe are you a Christian? Are you one of those fanatics? Can you give an answer for the hope to lies within you because you're passionate about Christ, because there's fruit in your life, because you've been filled with the spirit of God and you are the elect? If you can't, if you can't answer this, don't be deceived, get on your face and seek the Lord and say I love you and I believe and fill my heart and and draw me close and don't let me be those that say, Lord didn't we do these things. Didn't I didn't you know me. I was here all the time I was doing good stuff, but in reality you would may be doing it for your own purposes for your own notifications, all of brothers such and such as always at church. You know I've known men that spend a lot of time at church and they're, never at home with their wife and family, because their life is such a mass at home that they never go there, but they're always a church. You, like wow that guys has such a strong walk. His life's a mess walking with Jesus is walking and step with him alive in Epesi. One Paul wrote in verse three praise to Praise be to God and father O Lord Jesus Christ. You bless us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing for he chose us is that you? He chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight in love, be predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Price, in accordance with his pleasure and will to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has given freely is really given to us in the one he loves in him. We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins and, according with the riches of God's grace in verse, Eleven and Him we have also were also chosen having being pre dest and, according to his plan, to the plan of him who works out. Everything in conformity to the purpose of his will in order that we, who are the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. So God shows his elect before the creation of the world and he chose us for good works and the good works come out of our love for him. So tonight as we go through the PODCAST, I just want to challenge you and and remind you to challenge people that this is the biggest decision and the most important decision the people have to make. If God's quickened you you have to reply by faith and then respond by faith and then you're saved, which was predetermined before you even existed for God's glory for good works that are set before you, but if you, if you Jesus, isn't Lord and football is or porn is or all these other things money and you don't have any fruit, it's a good time to reflect. The idea that thereare people who claim to be Christians or that you run into that you work with or in Bible studies with that that are in a an a building or around you, and they should be Christians in the what's taking place. But then you don't see anything, no fruit at all and they deny Christ in public and they and then they and yet you may have a private time with them getting coffee or could be a family member of yours and it's like yeah, I'm a Christian too. It's like okay! Well, you know, let's keep hanging out here, but you know don't be deceived because a lot of people that claim to be Christians are not and that Matthew seven versus twenty one. Is this terrifying? Many will say? Lord Lord and he'll say I don't know who you are you doers of anique depart for me to the place created for the devil and his angels. And it's not your own doing it's the gift of God, not a result of work so that no one may boast we are saved by the grace of God. We are saved by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We can't do anything to earn salvation, but after salvation there should be a manifestation of works out of us toward good works to bless people as ambassadors for Christ in a dark fallen world, but we never want to lose track of the fact that its grace that Christ saves us and we don't contribute to our own salvation. It's not grace, plus our good works, so I want to put remind us in there. So I don't want to this to turn into a OH. I have to be more moral or really perfect to be saved now, but if you're saved by grace unto good works and you're compelled to do good works and there's fruit in your life, and you want to be in God's Word and you want to be with other Christians- and you want to you want to worship, then you are obviously saved, but Jesus is Lord. So when your flesh wants to fight with what you know is right, then you must submit unto the Lordship of Christ in those situations and when you're in public- and if somebody says, are you a Christian, you say: Yes, that's not too hard to do. Well, they may not like me, they may ostracize me a man, a hey, there's, no dart, there's no fellowship with light with darkness and that's a problem in our culture. People are being on equally yoked in relate relationships and business deals, and you can't you can't have fellowship with darkness. You cannot be around people that well, my best friends are homosexual. Well, how do you do that? How do you have light and darkness? Well, I'm going to win him over now. It doesn't work that way because if they die while you're winning them over and they haven't repented and if they were part of the elect- and God was calling them, then they're going to come to faith and you need to be prepared to present the Gospel, but don't hang around sinners at bars and everything else, because you want to be a good witness. Be a good witness around them if it's a work or whatever, but I've seen too many people get sucked into the darkness and then all of a sudden we kind of find out that they went back into the world. So we have to be wise as serpents gentle as doves, don't be deceived, but we are effigies, two D and D, nine. It's for by grace. We that you have been safe to faith. It's not your own, doing it's the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast now. Here's here is how Jesus dealt with the world. Okay, he did not mince words a lot of people that I've met. They have Jesus out to be like howdy duty, always nice, that he's never. He never challenges people too harshly because he doesn't want to hurt their feelings because there's no lakes. Here's a good example, John at twenty four, actually I'll, go back to twenty three about. Remember the woman caught in adultery and they threw her at his feet, but they didn't throw the man at his feet, which is what the law would require. If they she got caught in adultery, then she was with the man, but they didn't bring him and Jesus told them that the religious people that tried to trap Jesus in this scenario here what to do with her. He said he told them you are from below. I am from above you are of this world. I am not of this world. That is why I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he the Christ, you will die in your sins. Any one who denies that Jesus Christ is Lord, is God, is the son of God from the Triune God Coeco with the father and the Holy Spirit that he created all things by him and for him all things are created for Christ, he's the ones to Jes the judge, and he told them. I told you if that you will basically paraphrasing here. I told you guys if you do not believe that I am God in the flesh saviour of the world, for those who are the called and the elect and believe you will go to hell. A majority of the world is going to hell. That's not a good thing. That's not something to be excited about. If you're born again, that's not something to boast about, I'm in they're, not in ha ha, it's a reality. We're all born sinners from birth we like to send our flesh is evil. A heart is to cecely wicked and, as we grow up, there's a point where we're quickened. If we're going to be saved and then we believe, but a lot of people never believe and if you die in your sins, anyone that dies in their sins, even if they were nice, even if they were your family member, anyone that dies in their sins because you have to be in Christ. You have to have that propitiation of send of covering you have to have the the atonement through the work of the cross, to be justified before God and to most people, because they like to sin because of their pride, because they don't want to humble themselves because they reject truth won are not going to heaven and billions of people are have died and did not go to heaven and billions more will die and will not go to heaven because their deeds are evil. That's why Jesus said the harvest is plentiful and pray that the father sends harvesters o. Why? We are the Great Commission we're all supposed to be prepared to give an answer to go out share the Gospel Make Disciples of the people that come to faith and then return to our Lord to have him say, enter into your resty good and faithful servants. Here's Johnny John Twenty, through twenty four I went over, but here if we go back a little bit in verse twenty, he spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts near the place where the offerings were put. No one seized him because his hour had not yet come once more Jesus said to them, I'm going away, you will look for me and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you cannot come verse. Twenty two this made the Jews ask. Will he kill himself? Is that why he says where I go? You cannot come eight twenty three, but he continued. You are from below. This is what we cano recovered earlier. I'm from above you are of this world. I am not of this world. I told you, you would die in your sins. If you do not believe that I am he, you will die, indeed die in your sins. So how do we know? How do we know? Okay? So if you are born again and you feel condemned because of something that is not from God, the Holy Spirit can vix and draws you to God. Lucifer would try to get you to have a pity party and draw away from God. So John Fourteen fifteen Jesus said. If you love me, you will keep my commandments pretty straightforward. If you love me, you'll keep my commandments first, John Five, two three by this. We know we love the children of God. The church, when we love God and Obeis Commandments, for this is the love of God that we keep his commandments and his commandments are not burdensome Jon. Fourteen twenty one, whoever has my commandments and keeps them he it is, who loves me and he who loves me will be loved. My by my father and I love him and manifest myself to him. You see a pattern here is: if Jesus is Lord and you've been filled with the Holy Spirit, then- and you are pursuing God because he's compelling you to because he's drawn you and you have come to faith, then our reasonable service is that we would be walking and step with him in love, trying to be blameless, keeping his commandments and being prepared to share the Gospel, but most or a large number, I don't Di, doesn't say just says in Matthew, seven, twenty one and verse twenty two that not every one who says to me. Lord Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my father or keeps my commandments is another way of saying it does the will of my father, who is in heaven and on that day many many will say to me. I don't know what that means most thirty percent forty percent, but on that day many will say to me: Lord Lord: Did we not prophesy your name and cast out demons in your name and do mighty works in your name and then I will declare to them. I never knew you depart for me. You workers of lawlessness to make sure make sure that you are born again and all that means is that you've been born from above, because you have been called by God and you can, you believe, by faith and you trust in the finished work of Jesus on the Cross and your Holy Spirit is in dwelling in you and you are different and you you now are repulsed by sin, and thus you want to do the works of your father and you want to keep the commandments and you want to draw lift up Christ. So people are drawn on to the cross and are saved and then, as we go through our lives, we have to be encouraging people. We have to be loving people, but we don't have fellowship with darkness. We don't give the Gospel to people who are going to trample on it and we just level life that makes a difference for the kingdom not for ourselves, and that is the Christian walk. If you're married, O you're washing your wife with the water, with the word of God, you're praying for you're trying to make sure that you're praying for your children you're being available. We all are have many shortcomings, so we're praying that God would cover those that he would fill in the gaps. But there's there's no greater gift that will ever exist, then the grace of God unto salvation and when it's all said and done. We are all individuals and we all walls, pen eternity either with God as being adopted in to faith or separated from God, because we are still in our sins. And I pray that you, if you're listening to this and you don't know that you get right with Gutton and if you have family members and they are living like dogs or spouse, pray and ask for the right timing and know your scripture and do it and love and challenge people to get right with God. Because there's no worse thing in eternity. There's there's no worst thing that can happen to any created being than to face judgment in the presence of a holy God and to know that a hundred and millions of a second that you will never experience, love again as you get sent to where the devil and his angels are, and in the final judgment, in the final when, when it's all said and done, death and everything and all of the unredeemed or thrown into the lake of fire, and that's it and they'll still have to worship from hell like it says in Flippins, because at the the name of Jesus every knee will bow in heaven on earth and below the Earth. The Jesus is Lord, so I hope this is encouraging to you because it's it was intended to challenge and to remind you.
