Today's podcast we're going to go over two things. Number one is we are commanded by our Lord and Save Your Jesus Christ, to go out and make disciples. Now, some people that's no problem. Some people are called to be missionaries and they take off, but other people that's terrifying. So we're going to go over the mindset of being obedient and also something called Romans Road, where I'm going to take you through some verses and Romans that if you write them down or if you look them up, if you if you get to know the verses all in one book of the Bible, Romans, and you pray about them and you and you are able to present them in sequence, then you will present the Gospel without leaving the book of Romans. And then we're going to go over forgiveness, in the second part of the pock cast, forgiveness, which is something that we all desire. We want to be forgiven, we want God to forgive us. That's why we went to Christ and in said forgive me please. I believe by faith and in your work on the Crosso we desire and we need to be forgiven and we want people to forgive us. So then, why is so many people walking around the claim to be Christians not accepting the please forgive me from people? Not Accepting, not not not extending forgiveness to people, but also not when you say would you forgive me and they say yes and you just for some reason want to hold onto feeling bad about what you did, even though they've said they forgive you. It's it's it seems like why would someone do that? But I know there is a lot of emotional baggage that can go in to some situations, depending upon your life, and the demonic world does not want you to be forgiven and they do not want you to forgive anybody. And I said, Paul said, we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers in the air. We are mind, in our soul, we're wrestling all the time with wanting to be obedient to the calling of the Holy Spirit and and are through our love for our savior, while our flesh wants to do the opposite. So we're going to get to the simplicity of forgiveness. The first let's go over the universal call that you have and I have in Matthew. Two Thousand Eight hundred and sixteen through twenty. It says then the eleven disciples went to Galilee. Why is there only eleven at this point? Because Judas hung himself and he went to the mountain where Gie they went to the mountain where Jesus told them to go, and when they saw him they worshiped him, but some still doubted. They're still doubting that Jesus came to them and said all authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I'm with you to the very end of the age. I think that's very interesting and it's very crucial teach them, the nations, to obey, to make Jesus Lord. So, my friend and the Lord, or if you're not a believer and you're just trying to check this out, for Christianity, the first thing is when we come to God, we come humbly. We have nothing to offer except our faith, and he gives us our faith, and yet when we come and we believe and he saves us and he equips us, then he says now go tell other people and teach them to obey my words and to Bleeve by faith and to make and to elevate me as Lord of their lives. Also so in Peter, First Peter Three fifteen, when he was talking to the Jews that were Christians that were dispersed, he says this, but it applies to all Christians. Okay, I've heard this a lot and this is actually not acceptable. But if somebody ask you what is a Christian? Why are you a Christian, explain the Gospel to me and you can't. We're not going to do the shame game right now. But you are. You are ignoring Apostolic Authority in Peter, in the apostles teachings, and you're rejecting what your Lord said, that you are to go and make disciples of people. Will only way you can make disciples as if you actually go and you speak and you and you teach them what you know. So, from the new American Standard version, Peter wrote to them sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, or to set Christ to part in your heart to elevate Jesus as Lord. Always being ready. Now, what does this say? Sometimes being ready, or being ready if you want to be no, always be ready or prepared to make a defense to anyone who ask you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect. So Christians were commanded to go make disciples, baptizing them, to get em a get them the gospel message, and the way we do that is we are always prepared to give a defense, to give an answer for the hope that lies within us, with gentleness in respect. Okay, you can write these down or you can look them up yourself. Romans road, I'm going to go over the verses with you and the extend the in the logic behind this versus are all in Romans. If you have a family member, friend, somebody on a bus, somebody somewhere, and they they say, well, well, what does it mean to be a Christian? Or how do I, how do I become a Christian? Or what is what? Why are you guys like the way you are? Or or explain Christianity to me. You or my dad's a Christian. I want to be one. How does it? What is it? So the basis to the Gospel is the depravity of Man. So Romans three and twenty three. You can also do Romans three ten, which says there is none righteous, not even one person on the earth is righteous. Romans three ten. Okay, okay, let me tell you about Christianity. First thing you have to recognize you have to come to God humbly, because it says in the Bible and Romans three and ten that not not one, one person is righteous. Not One. And the reason why is in Romans three twenty three it says for all have sinned, not some of sinned. Maybe someone didn't send. We know the only one that never sinned with Jesus, Christ, God in the flesh. But for all of sending fallen short of the glory of God. So the Gospel is none of us are righteous, not one, nobody seeking after God. Truly, all of Sind and fallen short of the glory of God. And the problem with that when you miss the mark, that's what sinning means. You Miss God's like when you do a shoot an Arrow, you miss the Bulls eye, which means then that says in Romans six hundred and twenty three, the beginning of the verse, because all of Sind and fallen short of the glory of God. They're going to be judged because it says in Roman six hundred and twenty three. The wages of that sin, what you're old because of your sin, is spiritual death. We're all going to die physically, but if you die in your sins, you will die spiritually eternally. Okay, Se Sharon Pete, sharing the truth with people. We all come into the world born in Adam. We all have a Sin Nature and all of Sind and fallen shore the glory of God and because of that, the wages of our sin is death, because we have to stand before a holy God and he does not allow sin in his presence. Then then you're like well now what? Okay, well, that's not good news. where I thought were talking about the Gospel. So write down Romans Twenty three B. So a would be for the wages of sin is death, the beginning of the verse. The second part is but the gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus, Our Lord. So there is your boomerang. All of sin, no one's righteous. The wages sin is death, but the gear is the Gospel, but the gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord. And how does what does that look like? How do I know? People ask you this, how do I know God really loves me? Romans five eight, but God demonstrated his own love for us in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Is that a tripper? What was that? I mean, it's really that's one of the most powerful verses in scripture that, even though we've all sinned and fallen short, even though those sins, the wages for those sins, is death, the grace and the gift of God it's extended to us in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Romans five eight, because, because God demonstrates his own love for us in this, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. At this point, if you if somebody believes all that. Yes, I know I've been a sinner, I've borne a sinner, I've always had problems and I know that I don't deserve heaven, but I believe and I rejoice that God demonstrated his love in us for this. I rejoice that while I've been sinning, but now that I'm repenting that Christ has already died for my sins. And then this is the response. This is not a canned follow, a B C d say the magic prayrier saved. But if, if you've understood that you need a savior, or if the person you're sharing with an understands that they recognize Jesus, Christ is the savior, then you say okay. Romans ten, nine and ten says this. If you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. And the Romans ten thirteen, every one who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. And here's a good thing about that. Romans five, one and two therefore. So this is after somebody. You believe Jesus as Lord, you're in the scriptures, you're obeying the word, you're teaching people to obey the word. Romans five, one and two. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, just as though we didn't sin, because we're in Christ now, therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God. People who have not been justified through faith, do you not have peace with God? Sinners, people that are not saved? Then they walk around with the wrath of God on them. But since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom we have gained access by faith into this grace which in which we now stand. But listen to this regard us. Of what you've ever done or the person you're sharing with, it doesn't matter. Romans eight one says, therefore, there is now, once you're born from above, the Jews called born again. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, no condemnation. If you ever feel condemned, it's from the evil one. It's from your mind. In the spiritual realm, God, the Holy Spirit, can vics, the demonic world condemns. That's how you can tell you're that, when you're when you're take in your thought life captive. You like know, the Scripture says there's no condemnation. So I do not accept the condemnation that I'm feeling, because that is from the evil one. So there you go. You can write that down Romans road or, if you wrote down those verses, go through the sequence or just share the straight out Gospel. Go to First Corinthians. But you know what I preach, that Jesus came bornever virgin, lived a perfect life, went to a Roman cross late his life down, died on the Cross, got victory over sin. Three days later, rose from the dead, rose up to heaven sits at the right hand of the father, interceding for those who believe. And if we confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart, then we're saved. How's the sound? Awesome. So that is that is what when I was a young Christian, or, if I want to, if I didn't know a lot of Bible, that's what I would recommend you doing. All Right, let me do my first sponsor here of the podcast. If you're using ATNT, verizon or tea mobile, you're paying way too much for your cell service. I used to use tea mobile. Pure talkcom from a code FLS forgiveness. We just went over. If you confess with your mouth and believing your heart right, you're saved. First, John One nine says if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all wickedness. Is that, Austin, or what we just did? Romans Eight? God showed his great love for us by sending Jesus to die while we were still sinners, and since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Jesus Christ, he will certainly save us from God's condemnation. God demonstrate his love in this the while we were still sinning, Christ died for us. forgiveness. Forgiveness right. Let me ask you a question. If you've been forgiven everything, then why won't you forgive others for small things? It says Isaiah fifty five seven. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God and he will forgive them generously. There's nothing that in that you can do or have done that can't be forgiven. If God extends mercy to you, offer salvation, does never will condemn you. Then the key to forgiveness for some people is they have to say, I've been forgiven so much and my Lord tells me to forgive, so for his glory, I'm going to forgive the people that have hurt me now, because what happens is this. If you don't forgive as we're told to, then Jesus said, if you don't forgive, then you could be end up tormented by the demonic world, oppressed because you are sinning by not forgiving. Now, I'm not saying this is easy. I'm just telling you what the Bible says. Psalm sixty five three, though we were, are overwhelmed by sins. We were full of sins. God, you forgave them all. First, John, two, one or two. Dear Children, I'm writing to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the father, Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. He himself is a sacrifice that atones for our sins, and not only for our sins, but for the sins of all the world. If you want, if you want to live free, then you have to let go of your list of I'm going to get thems they deserve for me to hate them. I would I like hating them or the opposite. I have trouble having intimacy with Christ because I've been so bad and I just I can't. I can't accept forgiveness. I people say they forgive me, but I I just now I'm not worthy to be forgiven. So people walk around in the Oh. I'm been such a terrible person. I've done so many wrong things. There's no condemnation in people that come to faith in Christ. There's therefore now no condemnation. We are new creations in Christ and it sounds like a simple thing, but there's so many people that are going to church. But yet yet they they don't forgive. They keep building up these lists. Classians three hundred and thirteen Paul said to bear with each other and forgive one another. If any of you has a grievance against someone, forgive as the Lord forgave you. So when you're in your prayer time, or if you're going throughout your day and things come to your mind, people come to your mind, or if you're in the word, go before the Lord Humbly and say, I am blown away that you forgiven me everything, past, present, future and Lord, teach me, lead me, comfort me, equip me to forgive those that have hurt me. And Lord, I pray that the people that I've wronged will forgive me. But I know you said in your in Your Bible and your word God, that there's no condemnation. So help me to walk blameless now, while I am praying for those people that I've wronged to be minister to and that they would forgive me for their sake. And this is where we get to like Licks, Luke thirty seven, because people say this to me. Why I can't? I don't forgive them because they are I don't like the way they act. Whatever, Luke thirty seven, do not judge or you will be judged. Do not condemn, or you will and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Peter came to Jesus and asked in Matthew Eighteen, twenty one and twenty two, Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sends against me? How many times do I eat? How many times should I forgive? Seven, Jesus said, I tell you not. Seven Peter Seventy Times seven. In other words, just don't build up anger and list of people that you are holding grudges against. Let it go. Psalm Eighty six five, you, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call on you. And PSAMMY thirty two. One. Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are cupboard. See, I don't like to complicate things. I've been forgiven all and through the encouragement and the and the confidence I have in the Holy Spirit, I let thoughts go. I don't hold grudges. I Paul said this. One thing I do for getting what's behind me. I press on, I go forward, looking forward. So if you walk in them, if you walk in humility and in thought that even though we've all send and fallen short of the glory of God, but then by grace were saved by faith, not of works. So we can't brag about being saved. So God does everything in our salvation, even gives us to faith, to believe, then we are the most blessed of all people on the planet. Thus, we should extend grace to people that have wronged us and we need to allow people that we've wronged. We need to we need to accept their forgiveness so then they can get rid of that burden of anger towards us if we've done something. But the whole message of the Cross is that a holy God died for sinful man because he loved us. Thus, we should love people that have wronged us. I'm not saying for I'm not saying and this which between you and the Lord. If someone's hurting you ongoing, you separate from them. Not Saying you stay with someone that's abusive and use. Okay, well, they're still abusive, but I keep trying to forgive. No, that's what what I'm talking about. Pray, be in the word, seek fellowship, get in a healthy church, be in love with Jesus, make much of him, share the Gospel, be prepared to give an answer, but forgive, and you must forgive without needing it to be reciprocated. Like Psalm thirty to one says blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, who sins are covered, blessed when you've been forgiven by God for everything. And if you ask somebody, would you forgive me? Or if you've been wronged and they wronged you and you say, I'm sorry, I forgive you for what you did, and they say, but I don't forgive you, it doesn't matter because when you go to glory, your sin issue is between you and your maker, you and your Creator, not the person on earth, nobody on earth can affect your ability to go to glory. So I Jesus said, don't fear the one don't fear. Don't fear the devil that can destroy your body, you know, mess with your life. Fear the one that can affect can can destroy your body but also send your soul to hell. Take your thoughts captive, forgive people billow, allow yourself to be forgiven. Make much of Christ. Be Able to share the Gospel in love. We don't go around beating people up with it. Love people, love the church and then prepare, through sanctification, to eventually meet your maker. That's Christianity. So in the podcast and night we went over why we must be prepared to give an answer, some verses, to take someone through the book of Romans, from we've all sinned, to confess with your mouth and believe in Romans a one, because when you after that there's no condemnation, and because there's no condemnation and we're commanded to forgive and by forgiving we're forgiven, then walk that way will. We are shedding off the weights that slow us down. And in the ANSOM I says, I don't know how you forgave me, because I've been forgiven everything by God who didn't know me anything, and it's all for Jesus Sake. My other sponsors, my pillowcom.
