Sometimes I see people, it looks like on social media that I don't really hear much about their walk with the Lord and then all sudden, if there's a Ukrainian situation, everybody comes out as prayer warriors and it's just kind of interesting. Says when I may encourage you to have a constant walk of prayer for people in the Kingdom for Christ's sake. Okay, we are going to get to genesis six today. If it's first time you're listening, I'm just going to pull out a couple things. I try to keep us around fifteen minutes, give or take, because I know you're busy. So it's going to we're going to go over the chapter, but we're just going to talk about a few things. But to start out, let's go through us the Psalm and a proverb. This is interesting psalm too. Why do the nations conspire? THE PEOPLE'S PLOT IN VAIN? The kings of the earth rise up in the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying let us break their chains and throw after shackles. The one enthroned in heaven laughs. The Lord Scoffs at them, he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his rapt saying I have installed my King of Zan Zion, my Holy Mountain. I will proclaim the Lord's decree. He said to me, you are my son. Today I become your father. Ask Me and I will make the nation's your inheritance, the ends of the Earth your possession. You will break them with a rod of iron, you will dash them to pieces like pottery. Therefore, you kings, be wise, be warned. You rulers of the Earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction. For his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. When we get to genesis six er, you're going to see that the world does turn on God, but God laughs when carnal people, his creatures that he created, challenges him. It's not good to challenge the god God, the one God, Yahweh, and his son Jesus Christ. You cannot do that and get away with it. Not a good idea. So if you know anybody that's thinks are pretty cool, they don't want to be doing that. All right, over too, proverbs one. We're going to finish one. This is about wisdom rebuking the center. Out on the open, wisdom calls aloud. She raises her voice in the Public Square, on the top of the wall, she cries out at the city gate. She makes her speech. How long will you who are simple, love your simple ways? How long will mockers the light of Mockeries and Fools hate knowledge? Repent in my rebuke? Then I will pour out my thoughts to you and I will make known to you my teachings. But since you refused to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my handsince you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, I will turn. I in turn, will laugh when disaster strikes you. I will mock when calamity overtakes you, when Clamy overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelms you. They will call to me, but I will not answer. They will look for me, but they will not find me. Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord, since they would not accept my advice and spurn my rebuke, they will eat of the fruits of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes, for the waywardness of the simple will kill them and the complacency of fools will destroy them. But whoever listens to me will live in safety and will be at ease without fear of harm. Two thing out that of the Psalm. In the proverb there is God is Holy, God is God is a sovereign God is in control, God is accomplishing his will. People resist that. People, like a says in Romans, one suppress truth, turn away, reject God, then God turns him over to a debase mind and then they end up destroying themselves. And I Jesus said, don't just don't fear Lucifer or the world that can destroy your body, but destroy God, who can destroy your body and cast your soul into hell. So not to start out with the negative here byes. Want you to know that we god is love and we worship him in spirit and truth. But the world is in trouble because it in their flesh. Collectively, they think they can challenge God. And when we get to genesis, you're going to see that the whole world became evil. Think about it. It's mindboggling. All Right, couple verses here that we like to cover every day. Matthew Fourteen says that you and I, as Christ followers, are the light of the world because the holy spirits and as in us and we are walking in the spirit and we are filled with the word of God. You are the lie of the world. Of City on hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead they set it on a stand that it gives light to everyone in the house. Let's be lights for Christ today. John One D and twelve. But to all who received Jesus, to those who believed in his name, he gave them the right to become children of God. We are born in Adam as sinful creatures. Once we get to a point of accountability, where we can tell God know we are, then we are we are accountable to God and we are not children of God but children of unrighteousness. But once we are born from above and we come to faith and we confess, we then are given the right to become children of God. Couple more here are going to get started on genesis six. By Common Defeat, by common confession or beyond all questions. The mystery from which true godliness springs is great. Jesus appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nation's, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory to mystere its to it's a mystery that God would demonstrate his love in this while we were sinners, Christ would die for us. It's a mystery that, before anything was created, Jesus went to the cross because, outside of time, he knew in time, at a certain point, that Jesus would save his elect it's a mystery, but the Holy Spirit confirms it. The word shows us and we then wait for the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Last one here. First John to fifteen. If you're depressed, if you're not happy, if you're frustrated, remind you again. First John to fifteen. Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the world means you were being popular, getting clicks on social media, being told you're pretty all the time, getting recognized for everything. If the world is what you love, if you need them, the reciprocal love, you think from the world, you're missing it. Do not love the world or anything in it. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. Verse Sixteen. For All that is in the world, the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes and the pride of life, is not from the father, but from the world. Okay, sponsor number one. It says when human beings began to increase in number on the earth and the daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans are beautiful and they married any of them they chose, and the Lord said, my spirit will not with can contend with human beings forever, for their mortal their days will be a hundred and twenty years. And there were nephelmen, are giants, under earth in those days and also afterward, when the sons of God, demons went in and had relations with daughters, with children, with women, and had children by them. There's a debate on this. We with these kings descendants. Where they just big people or were they demons? I did a little bit extra study on it. I believe that. I believe that they were actually the demonic realm that fell with Lucifer, that embodied men and their seed through the man, end up making these demon giant children. I know it sounds extreme, but listen to this and only one six hundred and fifty six years. Want thousand six hundred fifty six years after God's let there be light, God's about to flood the entire earth and start over. One thousand six hundred years less years then when Jesus died and rose from the dead. In human history, God started over. It was so wicked, the world was so wicked, just like Romans one, that the that the people loved darkness, they loved sex, sexual activity, they loved violence, they loved just anything that's your brain can think of, because it says in chapter six, Verse Five, the Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race have become, in that every inclination of their thoughts, of the human heart, was evil all the time. So try to picture this. Hundreds of millions of people probably, and their thoughts, all of them except for eight. We're wicked all the time. The people had so been open to demonic oppression and possession and they liked it. The God had turned over his creation to the point that angels, Dumb Demons were having relations through human bodies, men creating HMAN babies. So this massive, huge giants has did this. This total sin soaked culture, the whole world and it says in verse six that the Lord had regretted that he had made human beings on the earth and his heart was troubly said, I'm going to wipe from the face of the Earth the human race that I've created. So Noah, who we covered last time, was from the lineage of Methuselah, who end up being nine hundred sixty nine years old. I think that was his grandfather, which his name meant when he dies, when when I die, judgment comes. And then when he died the flood came. Noah was found to be righteous by God. It says in verse nine Noah was a righteous man, blameless among these people, and he walked faithfully with God and he had three sons. I don't know if they were triplets or web but he had sham ham and Jafeth. And God, in Verse Eleven, the Earth was corrupt and God's sight and full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth that become, for all the people of the earth had corrupted their ways. God said to know, I'm going to put it in to all the people, for the earth is full with violence because of them, going to destroy both them and the earth. So as we finished up here. Here's what I wanted to get across you. There's a debate between neppelman where they demons over they giants from kines Lynnis. It doesn't matter to me, I think, and I went to John Macarthur another people to to kind of verify my thoughts. But either way, the world was in darkness. The world love darkness. The world was open to Demonica, pression, possession, and God had turned them over because they had chosen to reject God. So he turned them over to themselves. That's the main thing. There's parts of the world today, even the United States, where they so reject God, they say they are so anti Christ, that he turns them over to a debase mind and they do things that shock us. Now, things new under the Sun. Noah was found out of the whole earth and his family was sanctified because of Noah's faith. And so for close to a hundred years. This is five hundred is when the boys are born. Six hundred the flood comes, but God had methuselaw on earth. His name was when I died, judgment comes no and the boys are building this huge arc. It's never reigned before. They're saying rain is coming. They're mocking their filthy, their vile demons and demon babies and giants and the whole thing. But God protected knowing them as the Ark was getting built. And then when Methuselah dies, the whole world that that were around and knew of of Methuselah are guilt. We're guilty because they knew what God had prophesied Enoch, through methuselah down to Noah, think was Lamik, and then Noah, when he a world, when he dies, this really, really really old guy judgment comes. Now Noah repent. When this is done, God's going to flood the whole earth. Oh, you idiot, you, oh, what a loser. Yeah, rain is going to rain. How whatever, whatever their minds. But but see, there's a point where God doesn't call when you reject the Holy Spirit. So they did. Nobody, none of them. It was so vile. None of them repented. And then when God brought the animals and they got on the arc, know, and the family went in and it says God shut the door, not noah. God shut the door and shut them in and the floods came. So I could be read in Psalm one, the end of Song, a proverb one. The world laughs and scoffs at God. The world plans against God. The world thinks they can challenge God. Lucifer in the demonic world challenge God. At one point they were cast out. They will do it again, along with the world and revelation nineteen. The world is the world is anti Christ, it's Antigod, because the father of this world is the devil. Only the elect, which is why recalled. The elect, are chosen out of the world that loves Lucifer, but they don't Love Lucifer, they love sin and in Lucifer is the father of lies. So people love themselves. That's the problem. It's all about them. But we don't want to mock Jesus, because it's said that you want to kiss the son, you want to worship and give Jesus the glory, or he will strike you. And today, when encourage you, you're you're saved, you're loved, you're going to heaven. Our prayer is for the people in Ukraine, people around the world, people in our local community. Prayer for our families, pray for our our politicians, that they would heed the call and they would serve God, also that they would love Jesus, that they would be counted in an added to the book of life. That is the main thing of all things is to make is it much as made of Christ and he's lifted up and he would draw all men unto himself. But the world got so bad in sixteen hundred years that got started over. But he did put a rainbow in the clouds and said, you know what, I'm never going to flood the earth again. The the the the next and final judgment will be by fire. But this holy God that sits and circled on the throne and in that that's that is the angels worshiped twenty four hours a day, is like got could says in Hebrews. Because of Jesus's work on the cross, we have this propitiation or this blood covering over us, so we can walk into the presence, through prayer, of a holy God and say, Abba Father, help me, I worship you, that you will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So that is a quick summary of Genesis six. So thank you so much for hanging out with me. I'm going to finish with this verse that I really like this proverb. I'm sorry, Psalm three, or Psalm, let me get over, Psalm one hundred and three. Think of this today. Psalm one hundred three, a Psama David. Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and all that is within me. Bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowned you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like ingles wings. The Lord Executes Righteousness and Justice for all who are oppressed. Those benefits are eternal. I do want to encourage you. Doesn't mean you're going to be healed today of your diseases, like some false teachers are teaching you. God can heal if it's for his glory. Everything God does is for his glory. So the benefits is eventually we're going to heaven because we have no sin, because we're in Christ. We will go to the our bodies, like angels, will have no sickness, death sorrow anymore. Saves us from Hell. So that's his he's Today's fit. He's cut crowning us with loving kind us and tender mercies, and he's taking care of us. So you're not alone. Don't be depressed. You're loved by God. Doesn't matter what people have done or what people you're loved by God. He wants you to be a light to the world. You want you to make much of Jesus, makes much of the cross, and then you are loved on by the creator of the universe. Forgive today and except forgiveness, if that's if you need to constantly, if somebody says I'm sorry, you don't say yeah, well, I don't know if I'm going to forgive.
